Enjoyed all the songs you did in your first set at the Trellis tonight, but especially enjoyed the dropped D song that's going to be on your next CD.
In the mid 70's I used to spend a week i the summer at Skiff Lake with my old college freinds Gary and Bette-Jean Stewart --- small world.
Maybe I'll see you again someday at the open mic at the Union Cafe in Berwick.
Oh yeah, about DADGAD, check out Stan Roger's "The Mary Ellen Carter". I'm pretty sure he played it in that tuning with a capo at the 5th fret. |

James, I heard a cut off your new cd on Sook Yin's show last week. It was nice to hear that you are still busy doing music. You probably didn't see me at your show. I was sitting in the corner next to the charming wife of the good looking big guy with the beard. You know how it is when you get to be a public figure, there are some places that you just can't be seen, like downstairs from a strip club. Hey Jamie!!!! Congrats on the completion of your new CD - Sandy sent me the copy with your message...your spelling is really improving (HA HA!) Sounds really great - picking up interesting things everytime I spin it (I think it sounds best at slower speeds (45 is nice)!!!!
